Samaritan House works hard to control its overhead expenses which are driven in large part by the fact that we provide daily living services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

85 cents of every dollar goes directly to resident services, which compares favorably with similar organizations.

 
     

 


In-Kind Donations and Gifts
You can be a part of rebuilding lives and making a difference!

Samaritan House gladly accepts your gifts of goods that we normally purchase for our residents or items that help support our daily operations. These can include:

  • Bed Linens
    • Twin, Full, Queen, Kind
    • Pillows, Pillow cases
    • Blankets, Comforters
  • Towels
    • Bath, Hand, Wash Cloths
  • Socks and Underwear for both Men and Women
  • Toiletries for both Men and Women
  • African-American Hair Care Products

We request that all donated linens and items listed above be new.

The following wish list requests can either be new or used:

  • Clock Radios
  • Televisions
  • Telephones
  • Lamps
  • Furniture
    • Beds
    • Dressers
    • Tables
    • Chairs
    • Sofas
    • Dining Room Sets
    • Shelving
    • Desk
  • Garden Supplies

We also would be thrilled to accept your donated Cars, Vans, or Boats.
